The Zac Brown Band celebrated an impressive milestone, marking their 15th consecutive sold-out performance at Fenway Park in Boston. On Sunday night, the band thrilled their audience with an extraordinary surprise: a complimentary cruise vacation for everyone in attendance.
Each of the over 37,000 fans got a free cruise for two aboard the Margaritaville at Sea. The band’s statement confirmed that the total value of this generous gift exceeded $40 million, a sum fully covered by frontman Zac Brown.
The exciting announcement unfolded just before the band’s performance of ‘Same Boat’. In a video shared by the band, Brown declared, “I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. Every single person here gets a cruise for themselves and a loved one to go on the boat.” He continued, “This is the biggest giveaway in history, ladies and gentlemen, here tonight at Fenway Park!”
Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, praised the initiative, stating, “We were honored to work alongside Zac to help bring this incredible surprise to life for his fans. This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career, and we’re proud to have helped make that incredible vision a once-in-a-lifetime reality.”
The free cruises can be redeemed on designated Margaritaville at Sea sailings over the coming year, per information from the company.
This generous giveaway is part of an ongoing promotion where the band offers four free cruises at each show on their current tour in collaboration with Margaritaville at Sea. The band’s longstanding relationship with Fenway Park began with their first performance at the iconic venue in 2014.
