Will Levis Confident in His NFL Potential Despite Challenges

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis hasn’t played since January 2025. Despite this, he remains confident amid questions about his health and current situation in Nashville.

Levis is expected to start the year as the Titans’ third-string quarterback with Cam Ward as QB1. Yet, he faces the challenge of aiming to become a starting quarterback in the NFL again.

“There are not 32 quarterbacks in this league better than me. I know that for sure,” Levis told reporters in Music City. “I’ve already put out some tape showing I’m a solid quarterback.”

Levis’ record includes 21 starts for the Titans. However, his claim of being a great quarterback is subject to debate. The former Kentucky star holds a 5-16 start record, with 21 touchdowns, 16 interceptions, and 17 fumbles on his stat sheet.

During an offseason workout in California, Levis emphasized not fixating on competition but preparing thoroughly for opportunities.

Despite the Titans’ pace not fully supporting Levis during his starting tenure, he didn’t make a memorable impact early on.

The 27-year-old needed shoulder surgery in July 2025 and spent that season on injured reserve. Now, as Levis approaches free agency at the close of the 2026 season, he is competing with veteran Mitchell Trubisky for the QB2 spot while training camp progresses.

While it’s natural for Levis to believe he is among the NFL’s top quarterbacks, claiming so while listed as QB3 seems ambitious.
