Tom Brady, an influential NFL quarterback, dedicated 20 years to the New England Patriots before transferring to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020. His journey, starting as the 199th pick, has culminated in seven Super Bowl victories.

Born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California, to parents Galynn and Tom Brady Sr., Brady attended Junipero Serra High School where he excelled in baseball and football. Brady was picked in the MLB draft in 1995 by the Montreal Expos but chose the University of Michigan to pursue football. His collegiate football career led to his sixth-round selection by the New England Patriots in 2000.

Brady began his NFL career in the 2000 season, initially fourth in line behind quarterbacks Drew Bledsoe, John Friesz, and Michael Bishop. By 2001, Brady advanced to second string under Bledsoe. That September, a game against the New York Jets altered his path as Bledsoe suffered an injury, allowing Brady to enter the match. Brady then became the starting quarterback for the Patriots.

In 2002, Brady led his team to victory in the Super Bowl against the St. Louis Rams. In 2004, the Patriots clinched another Super Bowl title over the Carolina Panthers, marking the start of Brady’s seven Super Bowl wins, more than any other player.

March 2020 brought a surprising move; Brady left longtime coach Bill Belichick and the Patriots to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his debut season with the Buccaneers, Brady secured a Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Brady, who boasts ten Super Bowl appearances, has the most wins of any NFL player.
