The most recent revelations about Epstein involve an elite Harvard club. The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770, a student cultural organization, is under pressure to sever ties with its billionaire chair because of his association with Epstein. Andrew Farkas, a Harvard alumnus and donor, maintained a close friendship with Epstein, as revealed in Justice Department files.
Since 2012, Farkas has chaired the Hasty Pudding Institute. It is located in a building named after his deceased father. Some students, faculty, and alumni are now circulating petitions to encourage the institute and the university to end their relationship with Farkas and to rename the building.
