The Impact of USIEA’s Work in Strengthening U.S.-Israel Relations Over 15 Years

For 15 years, American lawmakers have engaged with one of the United States’ most significant alliances: the U.S.-Israel partnership. Since 2011, the U.S.-Israel Education Association (USIEA) has facilitated trips for members of Congress to Israel. These visits have provided a firsthand look at security, technology, and geopolitical issues that are crucial in Washington.

USIEA’s Milestones in Strengthening Ties

Heather Johnston, USIEA’s Founder and President, shared reflections on the group’s 15th anniversary. The lawmakers were impressed, initiating legislative efforts that soon led to tripling the Iron Dome’s funding.
