Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant Found Dead in Hawaii During Layover

Jenny Lupton, a 50-year-old flight attendant working for Southwest Airlines, was discovered deceased in Hawaii while on a layover last Friday. This incident is currently under active investigation by the Honolulu Police Department’s homicide detail.

The police department has stated that no conclusions have been reached regarding the case. According to their statement issued on Tuesday, HPD is restricting the release of certain information to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by Lupton’s fellow coworkers. The initiative’s description mentions, “Jenny was one of us. She was part of our work family. She shared the skies with us, worked beside us, laughed with us, and touched the lives of so many.”

Thus far, the fundraiser has collected over $6,000 toward an intended goal of $26,000. The collected funds aim to offer support to Lupton’s family during this difficult time. The campaign further conveys, “We are heartbroken. We are devastated. And we are going to do everything we can to make sure her family knows that they have good people on their side.”
