A tragic car accident during the weekend led to the death of social media influencer and model Ayzia J. Toledo, along with another passenger. Toledo, a 22-year-old Philadelphia resident famous for her modeling projects and lifestyle content under the name “AYZIA J,” was identified as the driver involved in the incident.
The collision occurred late Sunday night on a New Jersey freeway when Toledo lost control of her BMW with two passengers on board. The car veered off the road, overturned, and crashed into a tree in Deptford Township, approximately 12 miles south of Philadelphia.
Accident Details
The New Jersey State Police reported that Toledo failed to maintain directional control of the vehicle, which resulted in the fatal crash. Both Toledo and her front-seat passenger, Henrietta F. Carter, a 22-year-old from Darby, Pennsylvania, sustained fatal injuries.
A third passenger in the vehicle, seated in the rear, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Authorities have stated that the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Ayzia J. Toledo’s Social Media Presence
Toledo was a well-known social media influencer who shared her experiences on beauty, fashion, and her life in Philadelphia. Her influence grew to over 300,000 followers across social media platforms, including more than 250,000 followers on TikTok and around 87,000 on Instagram. Her unexpected passing prompted an outpouring of grief and condolences from fans on her social media accounts.
The family set up a GoFundMe page, highlighting her promising future and the love she received from family, friends, and her community. The page confirmed that Ayzia has “gone home to Heaven to rest peacefully alongside her beloved mother and grandmother.”
Her death occurred on the same day as another influencer’s fatal incident. Brianna Johnson, known as DreamDoll Brii, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Miramar, Florida, while inside a Lamborghini SUV.
