LaBron Kozone’s New Journey with Major League Wrestling

Pro wrestler LaBron Kozone recently signed a multi-year contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in March. Right from the start, he was identified as a blue-chip and ‘generational’ prospect. Since joining, Kozone has secured several victories and is gearing up for a match on Saturday’s ‘Fusion’ where he seeks revenge against Joe Coffey. This comes after Coffey’s actions against legendary figure Teddy Long in a previous event.

Kozone’s Reflections on Joining MLW

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Kozone shared his thoughts on signing with MLW. He highlighted the strategic choice, considering the current landscape of the wrestling world. ‘It was a great opportunity,’ he expressed, noting the importance of positioning himself effectively amidst the numerous promotions available.

Kozone also explained the personal and professional benefits of his decision. ‘Beyond wrestling, I run Firestar Pro Wrestling Training School. This affiliation opens doors for both myself and my students,’ he stated. He commended MLW’s rapid growth and accessibility, citing consistent sold-out shows which he had witnessed firsthand before his official signing.

Opinions and Aspirations in Wrestling

MLW owner Court Bauer described Kozone as a ‘blue-chipper and a generational prospect’ earlier this year. While Kozone admitted uncertainty regarding the term ‘blue chip,’ he embraced the label of ‘generational talent.’ ‘I understand and agree with being called a generational talent,’ he noted, affirming his impact and achievements over a relatively short time in the wrestling scene.

Looking ahead, Kozone aims to pursue championship titles, as he mentioned in another statement to Fox News Digital. A victory over Coffey is seen as a step towards this ambition.

The continued growth of Kozone’s career in MLW and his contributions to wrestling through his training school are closely followed by fans and observers in the industry.
