Impending Resort Closures Averted

The Primm Valley Resort & Casino was set to close on July 4, which would have impacted 344 employees. The closure was planned by Affinity Interactive due to financial difficulties. This decision faced criticism from the Primm family who expressed concern for the employees’ welfare.

Nostalgia and the Future of Primm

Clemetson recounted his grandfather’s contributions to the Primm resorts and shared fond memories. He cited the affordable family experiences that made Primm a popular destination.

Plans for a new airport near Primm, the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport, are underway, expected to commence construction by 2029. This development could provide Primm an edge over other Las Vegas casinos.

Revitalization Initiatives

The partnership might lead to property renovations, enhanced traveler amenities, and infrastructure improvements. Clemetson expressed optimism about Primm’s long-term prospects and the dedication to preserving his grandfather’s legacy.
