4 weeks ago 0

Recent audio dispatches have brought more insights into the domestic violence case involving Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs. The recordings, released by TMJ 4, include a dispatcher speaking to a police officer about audible disturbances from within Jacobs’ Wisconsin home.

The officer was informed about the ‘yelling and screaming’ along with noise from objects being thrown, believed to involve a male and female.

Further audio includes a call from a neighbor reporting that someone was assaulted at Jacobs’ residence. When law enforcement arrived, Jacobs was not present. He had left in his Mercedes G-Wagon, but police tracked his vehicle’s license plate and issued an alert.

On Tuesday, authorities arrested Jacobs after an investigation by the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department. He faces five charges related to domestic abuse, including battery and criminal damage to property. According to the police, one charge, strangulation and suffocation, is a felony, while the others are misdemeanors.

Jacobs’ attorneys, David Z. Chesnoff and Clarence Duchac, assert that Jacobs denies all allegations. They called for caution as the investigation is still early with evidence yet to be disclosed.

The NFL is aware of the investigation and has communicated with the Packers. The Packers chose not to comment, citing the investigation’s ongoing nature.

Josh Jacobs, during the 2025 season, completed his second year with the Packers, achieving 929 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 1,234 carries. In the previous year, he accumulated 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns. Prior to joining Green Bay, Jacobs played for the Las Vegas Raiders for five seasons and led the league in rushing yards in 2022 with 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns.
