2 weeks ago 0

A man caused damage to the property of Beyoncé and Jay-Z in East Hampton after crashing into their wooden gate. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, as reported by the local police.

The individual involved, identified as Keith Jonathan Webster, is 63 years old and from the Bronx. He is facing charges for felony criminal mischief in the second degree and misdemeanor criminal trespass in the third degree.

Police reports indicate that the gate sustained significant damage. A witness observed Webster driving at high speed up the driveway, not stopping until he broke through the gate, ending up on the celebrities’ driveway.

Webster’s vehicle was seized for evidence. Authorities took him to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital after he reported an injury during processing. After receiving medical attention, he returned to police custody.

Webster appeared in court for his arraignment on Thursday. Justice Steven Tekulsky issued a protective order, preventing him from contacting Beyoncé or Jay-Z. Reports note that Webster seemed disoriented during the proceedings and was taken to a mental health facility for evaluation.

Detective Sergeant Jennifer Dunn mentioned that Webster’s motive is under investigation. He does not have a prior criminal record. It has not been confirmed whether Beyoncé and Jay-Z were at home when the incident occurred.

Efforts to reach the couple for comments remain unanswered.
