Hurricane Polo Threatens Catastrophic Impact on Mexico’s Coast

Hurricane Polo is anticipated to travel north along Mexico’s coastline in the next few days. Experts caution that this system has potential to escalate into a category 5 hurricane, leading to catastrophic consequences. According to the latest update released on Tuesday by the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Hurricane Polo was positioned roughly 215 miles south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, moving east-southeast at a speed of approximately six miles per hour.

The hurricane is predicted to shift northwest on Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Forecasts indicate that the storm will pass near the southwestern coast of Mexico in the coming days, but it is expected to remain offshore.
