3 weeks ago 0

Frankie Valli has canceled the rest of his farewell tour with the Four Seasons due to ongoing health issues. The 92-year-old singer shared the update on social media, expressing his regret to fans who purchased tickets. ‘I’m taking the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health,’ Valli stated. He remains hopeful about returning to the stage after recovering. He thanked fans for their well-wishes.

Known as the frontman and the only original member still performing, Valli embarked on ‘The Last Encores’ farewell tour in October 2023. Fans quickly showed their support on social media. Many expressed relief that he is prioritizing his health. One fan wrote, ‘I’m glad you’re taking time to care for yourself. Wishing you and your wife some relaxation.’

Earlier in 2024, fans grew concerned after videos of Valli struggling with lyrics surfaced online. In response, Valli reassured his audience through a statement published by People magazine, ‘I know there has been a lot of stuff on the internet about me lately, so I wanted to clear the air. I am blessed to be 90 years old and still doing what I love.’

He emphasized his commitment to performing, as long as he is able and fans continue to attend his shows. He mentioned the essence of the Four Seasons’ sound, achieved by layering vocals and instruments over their 60-year career. ‘I plan to keep on delivering that great Four Seasons sound. Like the line in ‘Jersey Boys,’ I’m like that bunny on TV, that just keeps going and going.’
