A Florida TikTok user known as a “demonologist” and “Grey Hat Hacker,” Mark Stephen Asea, has been arrested for allegedly releasing women’s private data online and claiming he could track them through their phones. Asea, 36, from Port St. Lucie, was detained on September 30, accused of committing an offense against computer users. His bond is set at $35,000, as per the sheriff’s office records.
The arrest revives a criminal case initially closed a few months ago. Asea was first apprehended in April with charges related to stalking and computer misdeeds, but those were dismissed in May. The current charge of unauthorized computer access emerged in September.
Mark Stephen Asea, 36, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on September 30, 2026, on a charge involving computer user offenses after prosecutors revisited his case.
As cited in a police affidavit, two women reported their private information appearing in Asea’s TikTok videos. One had trusted him with a computer issue.
In a video scrutinized by authorities, Asea allegedly disclosed details of a woman’s devices and claimed awareness of her recent online purchases. A transcript from the affidavit quotes him revealing intimate knowledge of her passwords and buying habits. The woman informed investigators that her password was communicated only in a private TikTok group chat, from which Asea was seemingly absent.
The second woman sought Asea’s help in October 2025 for technical troubleshooting, allowing him remote access to her computer. She later claimed he installed a virus enabling him to view her information illicitly. She reported an unauthorized photograph from her phone being posted by Asea, with allegations of claims linking it to a WhatsApp conversation.
Asea reportedly bragged about tracking her via her phone’s GPS, as stated in affidavits. Investigation noted he uploaded over 100 videos, sometimes six daily, mentioning one of the women. He even bought a domain to showcase a video of her tattoo.
Asea’s TikTok biography includes titles like “Demonologist,” “Clairsentient,” “Empath,” “PTSD,” “Grey Hat Hacker,” and “Woodsman.” A different account once listed him as a “former satanist” and “cybersecurity engineer.” Over summer, he was involved in a civil stalking protection case. A temporary injunction against him in July was later dismissed in September.
The criminal case was reopened on September 24. Asea now faces charges of unauthorized computer or electronic device access. Records don’t clarify why original charges were dropped or the reason for reopening the prosecution. His arraignment is scheduled for November 19.
