The Broken Arrow Fire Department in Oklahoma successfully extinguished a fire at a fireworks stand on Saturday night. Firefighters faced a unique challenge as they arrived to find fireworks actively detonating.
At around 8:50 p.m., the department was alerted to the fire near E. Kenosha Street and S. 236th East Avenue. Their Facebook post shared details of the incident, stating, “Upon arrival, BAFD Engine 4 arrived to find a fireworks stand on fire with fireworks actively detonating.”

The department included an image in their post illustrating the situation at the scene.
As more crews arrived, A-Shift firefighters swiftly controlled and extinguished the fire in approximately 20 minutes. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
This fire incident took place two weeks ahead of July 4, a time when fireworks are commonly used to celebrate Independence Day across the United States.
