A federal judge has put a temporary stop to the $110 billion merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery. This merger aims to significantly transform Hollywood and the TV news landscape.
The decision came as a result of an antitrust lawsuit filed by 12 Democratic state attorneys general. California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta was among those who initiated the legal action against this major media deal.
