Dominik Mysterio’s Role in Triplemania 34

Dominik Mysterio is set for an intense schedule at Triplemania 34. As the AAA mega champion, he joined forces with Omos in the ring, aiding the 7-foot-3 titan in his victory over Rey Mysterio on Night 1 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. On Night 2, Mysterio faces El Grande Americano to defend his title.

AAA offers a unique glimpse into Mysterio’s wrestling prowess, showcasing him in a different light than WWE programming. Corey Graves, who commentates for Triplemania, emphasizes Mysterio’s versatility.

“So Dirty Dom is the reigning Mega champion, which is the top title in AAA. I think, if you need another reason, another incentive to check out AAA in addition to ‘Monday Night Raw’, you’re going to see a different side of ‘Dirty Dom.’ You’re seeing, I think, Dom with a little more freedom to be how he wants to be as opposed to how others perceive him,” he shared with OutKick Dropkick.

Mysterio brings authenticity to AAA, which Graves believes enriches his character. Mysterio’s performances have shown much of his wrestling potential.

Graves anticipates that Mysterio’s popularity in AAA will translate to WWE over time. He believes that eventually, WWE fans will witness the compelling aspect of Mysterio that AAA viewers enjoy.

“Sometimes it doesn’t happen overnight or as quickly as everybody would like to, but knowing this business, I think on a long enough timeline, you’re going to see AAA ‘Dirty Dom’ on Raw, on SmackDown,” Graves remarked. “The way that Mexican fans receive him versus American fans is night and day.”
