As the 2026 NFL season nears, the league has released its annual NFL Top 100 rankings. The list, voted on by current players, named Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams as the 53rd best player this year.
Adams is entering his 13th NFL season, marking his first with the Rams. At 33 years old, he became the top red-zone target for NFL MVP Matthew Stafford, scoring a league-high 14 receiving touchdowns in 2025. This achievement places him among the elite, with only 18 players in NFL history reaching 1,000 career receptions.
“There’s been times when he’s running routes and you can feel the ground shake and you’re like, ‘Holy cow.’ He’s putting a lot of force into it,” said Nacua.
“People are trying to cover me, and then they also got to cover Davante Adams. Anytime we get inside the 25-yard line he’s looking for six,” he added.
Puka Nacua, Adams’ teammate, also excelled, leading the league with 129 receptions. The star wide receiver achieved a career-high of 1,715 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in his third season with the Rams.
The Rams will kick off their 2026 regular season against the San Francisco 49ers in a “Thursday Night Football” match on September 10.
