As Gus W. Rickette Sr. traveled down West Madison Street on August 11, 2026, he was flanked by his grandsons Sir Charles Rickette and Quintin Rickette in a celebratory motorcade. This event marked a significant moment not only for Rickette but for the entire Austin community.
