4 weeks ago 0

During President Donald Trump’s speech at the National Mall, he praised the Brooklyn Bridge as one of the greatest architectural feats. Concurrently, firefighters in New York City battled flames on the bridge during the July Fourth fireworks show.

A fire erupted on the Brooklyn Bridge amid New York City’s celebrations, setting off smoke and drawing attention from onlookers. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, and thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Coincidentally, Trump lauded the bridge during his speech, emphasizing its historical significance alongside American flags and figures from America’s past. Despite the fire, the America 250 fireworks display was considered spectacular.

The fireworks had been rescheduled earlier due to chances of severe weather, which had also affected other events on the East Coast, including the National Mall evacuation in Washington, D.C.

Lee Greenwood expressed pride in accompanying Trump during the America 250 celebrations. The event highlighted historic American flags, connecting them to iconic individuals like Davy Crockett and Annie Oakley, as well as legendary figures of the Wild West.
