A judge in North Carolina has reportedly issued an arrest order for Jen Belichick, the daughter-in-law of Bill Belichick. She was expected in court due to a speeding violation but did not appear.
Jen Belichick, married to Steve Belichick, the defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels, was stopped by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on May 21. She was allegedly driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County, according to court records mentioned by the California Post.
She was cited for misdemeanor speeding and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Her absence led to an arrest order being issued. A court official informed the California Post that she now has three options:
- File a motion to recall the arrest order.
- Hire a lawyer for her defense.
- Turn herself in.
There has been no public comment from Jen Belichick regarding the order. Attempts by Fox News Digital to get comments from a Brunswick County clerk were made.
Jen and Steve Belichick have been married for around ten years and have multiple children. Reports suggest ongoing tensions between Jen and Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. This includes an incident where Jen criticized Hudson over an interview question involving Bill Belichick.
