An Amber Alert has been issued for one-year-old Emiliona Gonzalez in Missouri following a vehicle theft in St. Louis. Authorities report that a suspect stole a car with the baby inside.
The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday in the 800 block of S. Broadway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Walnut Street from Memorial Drive.
Authorities are actively searching for Joseph Nickell, a 43-year-old man, last seen with Emiliona Gonzalez. Nickell is described as a Black man, 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a light mustache. He was reportedly armed with a handgun.
Emiliona Gonzalez was last seen wearing a gray onesie paired with black shorts. The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a blue Dodge Charger, model years 2015-2023. It features two white stripes over the hood and carries an Illinois temporary registration tag and an Illinois license plate.
