Life and Career of Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas is a multifaceted talent known for his work as a solo artist, actor, and as a member of the popular boy band, the Jonas Brothers. Alongside his two brothers, Joe and Kevin, he has been a part of successful music ventures both individually and with the band.

Born on September 16, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, Nick Jonas was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, by his parents Denise and Paul. In 2005, Nick, along with Joe and Kevin, formed the Jonas Brothers. They initially signed with Columbia Records, releasing the album “It’s About Time.” However, after being dropped by the label, they found success with Disney’s Hollywood Records. In 2007, they launched their self-titled album, featuring hits like “S.O.S” and “Year 3000.”

The band further solidified their place in the music industry with their 2008 album “A Little Bit Longer” and followed it up with “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” in 2009. Despite their success, the Jonas Brothers parted ways in 2013 to pursue individual projects.

During the band’s hiatus, Nick Jonas released several solo projects. In 2015, he came out with the album “Nick Jonas X2,” highlighted by the single “Jealous.” This was followed by “Last Year Was Complicated” in 2016 and “Spaceman” in 2021. Remarkably, in 2019, the Jonas Brothers reunited, releasing the hit song “Sucker” and the album “Happiness Begins.”

Apart from his music career, Nick has made a notable impact in the acting world. He featured in the Disney movie “Camp Rock” in 2008 alongside his brothers and Demi Lovato, and its sequel “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” in 2010. His acting resume also includes roles in “Careful What You Wish For,” “Goat,” “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Midway” in 2019, and “Chaos Walking” in 2021. Additionally, Jonas showcased his acting skills on the television show “Kingdom” and served as a coach on the singing competition show “The Voice” during its 18th and 20th seasons.

In his personal life, Nick Jonas is married to Priyanka Chopra. The couple began dating in May 2018, got engaged by July, and tied the knot in December of the same year. Their family grew in January 2022 when they welcomed their daughter via a surrogate.
