Nearly a month after being carted off the field, Caleb Williams is ready to return to action. The Chicago Bears’ quarterback aims to start again following a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury. His participation in the upcoming game will depend on a smooth pregame warmup, according to OutKick. ESPN initially broke the news about Williams’ return.
Williams was injured during the game against the Minnesota Vikings on September 20. Many Bears fans were concerned as Williams grabbed his leg and had to leave the field in a cart during a rain-soaked match. Despite these worries, the Bears managed to achieve a 2-1 record in his absence.

Williams is expected to play against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He completed a full week of practice without issues but mentioned to reporters on Thursday his uncertainty about starting. He refrained from specifying the severity of his hamstring injury but did describe it as “pretty serious.”
With Williams sidelined, the Bears have relied on Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent. Keenum led the team to a victory against the Philadelphia Eagles with a 27-7 win. Bagent then helped secure another win against the New York Jets, ending 23-12. However, recent struggles saw the Bears fall to the Green Bay Packers, losing 31-7.
