Ben Affleck’s son Samuel seems to have developed an interest in Lamborghinis. This comes four years after an incident where Samuel accidentally backed one into another car. In a recent appearance on Kerry Washington’s podcast, ‘Street You Grew Up On,’ Affleck shared insights about his son’s tastes.
The 54-year-old actor mentioned that Samuel, 14, has inherited his liking for luxury. Affleck shares Samuel and his other two children, Violet, 20, and Fin, 17, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. During the podcast, Affleck recounted discouraging Samuel’s wish for a Lamborghini.
I see my son now, you know, and he’s a lot like me.Affleck said, humorously adding that his older children were less interested in luxury.
At a dealership in Los Angeles in June 2022, Samuel, allowed to sit in a Lamborghini, accidentally put it in reverse, bumping a BMW. Both Affleck and Samuel checked the cars for damage, but none was found, according to the dealership and Affleck’s representatives.
Luxury items are not new to Samuel. In March 2025, Samuel admired a $6,000 pair of sneakers. Affleck commented on the price by joking that Samuel would need to mow many lawns to afford them.
Affleck and his ex-wife Garner, who divorced in 2018, co-parent their children. Affleck explained in an interview that he wants his kids to learn the importance of hard work and that they shouldn’t expect handouts from famous parents.
Affleck noted that his children aren’t concerned about his fame. They were more impressed by a meme of him with Dunkin’ Donuts, which gained attention due to his exasperated expression.
