In addition to Davis, reports suggest that Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell, and Dante Exum will also be heading to Washington. This transaction marks the Wizards’ second major trade of 2026, showcasing the team’s ambitions for the future.

In a previous remarkable trade, the Wizards traded CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for four-time All-Star Trae Young. However, Young has not yet played for the Wizards due to knee and quadriceps injuries. His condition will be reassessed after the All-Star break scheduled for next week.
