Olivia Rodrigo’s Spectacular Start to ‘The Unraveled Tour’

Singer Olivia Rodrigo opened her ‘Unraveled Tour’ with a performance full of surprises at the People’s Bank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut. The 23-year-old artist captivated her fans by wearing a baby blue pleated mini dress while performing her song ‘The Cure’ from her third album. As the show unfolded, rain fell on stage, revealing a red latex outfit beneath her dress, thrilling the audience.

The evening continued with Rodrigo changing into a tank top and jeans, delivering an encore with songs from her previous albums, ‘GUTS’ and ‘SOUR.’ After the performance, she expressed her gratitude online, thanking her collaborators and noting the tour’s successful start.

The ‘Unraveled Tour’ is set to include 86 shows across North America and Europe, concluding with two nights at London’s O2 Arena on May 10. This marks Rodrigo’s third tour and the first supporting her latest album, ‘You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.’

In addition to her tour, Rodrigo made headlines with her Daisy Chain Fields music festival, supporting women-focused nonprofits. The event successfully raised $20 million, thanks to a matching donation from philanthropist Melinda French Gates. Gates praised Rodrigo’s efforts, emphasizing the power of collective action and the impact women can have when they unite for a cause.

The funds raised will be distributed equally among ten organizations, including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, and Planned Parenthood, to support women’s rights and health initiatives.
