Donovan Ezeiruaku’s Penalty
Defensive end Ezeiruaku was fined $11,941 for a facemask violation late in the fourth quarter. With 2:10 remaining, his penalty facilitated the Giants in running down the clock, leading to their 28-20 win over the Cowboys.
Javonte Williams’ Taunting Incident
Williams was fined $11,941 as well for taunting after a fourth-quarter touchdown. He directed unsportsmanlike conduct toward Giants safety Tyler Nubin, holding the ball out following his scoring play. This drew a 15-yard penalty, affecting the extra-point attempt, which Brandon Aubrey then missed from 48 yards out.
“I don’t know why I did it,” Williams admitted. “It’s just out of character. You don’t have to worry about that happening again. The damage is already done. It’s my fault. I’m better than that. I’m a pro.”
