However, the Rams’ travel strategy drew criticism from many in the NFL, especially after the game’s outcome.
During an episode of “First Take” on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith addressed the Rams’ travel decision, labeling it a questionable choice. Smith remarked, “You got there 28 hours before the game. Clearly, that appeared to be a mistake.”
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy shone with 205 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. His successful connections with Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and Demarcus Robinson contributed significantly to their win. In contrast, Stafford faced challenges, ending with 155 yards and an interception.
