The U.S. women’s basketball team showcased its dominance once again as it secured a spot in the FIBA World Cup quarterfinals. On Monday, they triumphed over Czechia with an impressive 105-64 victory in Berlin. This win marked their successful completion of group play with a perfect 3-0 record.

With their next match against Hungary or Japan scheduled for Thursday, the Americans continue to demonstrate their strong form. If they face Japan, it will be a repeat of the Tokyo Olympic final where the U.S. emerged victorious, winning 90-75.

Sunday’s game against Italy proved to be the toughest challenge for the U.S. women’s basketball team in 20 years. They managed to edge past Italy in the closest game of their remarkable 33-game winning streak in FIBA World Cup play, which dates back to 2006.

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Breanna Stewart led Monday’s efforts with 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. The team’s performance saw all 12 players contributing to the scoreboard, with each player participating for at least 13 minutes.
