Federal Sweep Uncovers Non-Citizen Voter Fraud Cases

Federal agents recently carried out operations tied to a multi-state Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation, resulting in criminal charges against individuals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin for illegal voting and falsifying citizenship. Fox News Digital obtained footage of these operations. This crackdown aligns with a broader effort by the Trump administration to address election-related crimes before the 2026 midterms.

In the past year, the DOJ has pursued lawsuits against numerous states to gain access to confidential voter records. Moreover, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has redirected its focus from cartels and terrorism to identifying unlawfully registered non-citizens. According to the White House, there is significant evidence of non-citizens attempting to vote in U.S. elections.

Recently, the DOJ announced federal charges against five individuals, including two illegal immigrants and two non-citizens with legal status, for election fraud during the 2022 and 2024 elections. These individuals face charges for unlawfully casting ballots and falsifying citizenship. Some may face sentences of over ten years if convicted.

One individual, Katya Rodriguez, a 30-year-old illegal alien from Mexico living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was indicted for her actions in the 2024 election. She is charged with providing a false statement of citizenship, fraudulent registration, and voting as an alien. If convicted, she faces up to 11 years in prison and financial penalties.

These arrests follow an earlier disclosure by New Jersey of a software error that erroneously registered nearly 6,600 non-citizens to vote, with about 400 participating in elections. Additionally, Homeland Security’s audit identified over 250,000 registered non-citizens in states like California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nevada.

Homeland Security Investigations has launched a coordinated effort in nine key states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, to address voter fraud involving non-citizens. This initiative has resulted in several arrests.
