Trump’s Super PAC Launches First General Election Ads

President Donald Trump landed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Sunday, August 16, 2026. On the same day, Securing American Greatness launched the first general election advertisements featuring Trump prominently. This nonprofit is linked to Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc.

The ads represent a significant national advertising effort. Political intelligence firm AdImpact reported that the ad buy starts from Wednesday costing $995,000. The ads primarily spotlight Trump and his political agenda. One particular ad acknowledges the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed by Congress.

An ad features a statement from Dana White, UFC President and Trump ally, complimenting Trump. It includes clips from Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this year. These 30-second segments incorporate video clips of Trump in action.

In another 30-second commercial, Trump discusses the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The bill includes eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security. Trump also highlights reduced egg prices, endeavors to decrease prescription drug prices, and encouraging large businesses to cover their own energy expenditures. “He’s fighting for you every day. Help him finish the job,” says the ad’s narrator.

This advertising rollout comes amid some Republican concerns about Trump not allocating enough funds to protect the party’s slim majority in Congress. Trump has indicated a willingness to increase his expenditure as midterm elections approach.

Recently, MAGA Inc. invested over $827,000 in support of Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) during her primary runoff. Speaking to reporters at a campaign event for Graham, Trump said, “I’ve raised a lot, and nobody knows what it is, but I will tell you it’s about $850 million. I’ll be spending a lot of that money for—and my own money—but I’ll be spending a lot of that money for candidates that I think are good, Republican candidates.”
