Chris Watts, a convicted murderer serving multiple life sentences, has reportedly found a new romantic interest while in prison. Watts, infamous for killing his pregnant wife and two young daughters in 2018, has connected with Lizzie Henderson, according to reports from People.
Watts has a background of corresponding with female pen pals during his time behind bars. His crimes shocked the nation when he admitted to killing his family on August 13, 2018, as he was engaged in an affair. Later that year, he received life without parole for the murders of his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, and their daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.
Instead of pursuing the death penalty, prosecutors agreed to a guilty plea from Watts, which he willingly accepted.
Henderson, who reportedly moved from Cleveland, Ohio, to Wisconsin, is where Watts is imprisoned. He is at Dodge Correctional Institution, a maximum-security facility in Waupun. Court records from Racine County, Wisconsin, imply that Henderson applied for a confidential legal name change, sparking marriage rumors within the prison system.
The Daily Mail reported that Henderson expressed awareness of Watts’ past, stating, “He knows how I feel. I don’t know all the people involved, but I would want to respect them.” She acknowledged the severity of his crimes, describing the murders as “something harsh for anyone to experience.”
Henderson was previously listed as a real estate agent in Milwaukee at Keller Williams Realty. The office confirmed she is no longer with them but avoided discussing her past employment details.
