A24’s ‘Tony’ Explores Anthony Bourdain’s Early Years

A24 has released the trailer for the new dramedy Tony, centered around the life of the late Anthony Bourdain. Facing setbacks, Tony finds himself working for a man known only as Chef, played by Antonio Banderas, at a small lobster joint in Provincetown. Tasked with washing dishes, Tony encounters a no-nonsense boss, and their contrasting personalities lead to unanticipated growth and life lessons for Tony.

Directed by Matt Johnson, known for the film BlackBerry and the mockumentary Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, Tony reflects Bourdain’s humor and struggles.
