The people involved in these unfortunate events include Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, Ruben Martinez, Renee Good, Silverio Villegas González, and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo.
These incidents have garnered significant media attention. Visuals of these individuals were shared widely, including through sources such as NBC News and Getty Images.
Rachel Reyes experienced the impactful nature of these situations firsthand. She watched a video that captured ICE agents dealing with Johan Sebastian Durán Guerrero’s case. On July 13, in Maine, an ICE officer fatally shot Durán Guerrero, leading to his removal from the vehicle by the agents.
