Rob Gronkowski’s Advice for Caitlin Clark

5 days ago 0

Rob Gronkowski, the former NFL icon, offers high praise and straightforward advice to Caitlin Clark: “Keep shutting up the haters.” His comments come amid widespread online discussions about Clark’s performance.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Gronkowski commended Clark for effectively managing public attention. “She’s doing a great job handling herself,” he said. “If I were in her situation, I’d handle it similarly. She’s managing it really well.”

Gronkowski advised Clark to continue her efforts on the court, suggesting that her strong performance will silence critics. Currently, Clark is averaging over 30 points per game, contributing to the Indiana Fever’s recent four-game winning streak. Her teammates, including Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, have been central to this success.

“Her teammates are key,” Gronkowski said. “They’re lifting her up, and that’s massive. If your teammates are behind you, it shows you’re doing the right things.” He emphasized the importance of support from teammates for Clark’s continued success.

According to Gronkowski, Clark has the potential to become the face of the WNBA. He believes the league needs to address her tough in-game experiences to promote her as a centerpiece. “Eventually, she’ll be the face once she wins something significant and the league steps in,” he remarked.

Gronkowski, not a fervent WNBA fan, noted that becoming a league face typically takes four or five years in both the NFL and NBA. His career, marked by 621 receptions, 9,286 yards, and 92 touchdowns, underscores his experience with league dynamics.

The Fever aim to extend their winning streak against the Portland Fire on Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
