Collins, who received recognition for her reporting on a crucial meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, responded with an Instagram post quoting Eleanor Roosevelt: ‘No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.’

In response to Trump’s jabs, CNN’s public relations team, led by Chairman Mark Thompson, issued a statement defending their journalists’ integrity. They emphasized the importance of their right to report news without government interference, highlighting the protection provided by the U.S. Constitution.
