Samsung Unveils 2026 Mobile and Wearables Lineup

Samsung has introduced its 2026 lineup of mobile phones and wearables. The company unveiled the products during the Galaxy Unpacked event in London on Monday, July 20th. The highlight includes three new hinge-based phones, two new smartwatches, and two smart glasses. Samsung describes this lineup as its most comprehensive to date, aiming to extend foldable technology to a broader audience. It builds on seven generations of foldable innovation, offering diverse choices through the new Galaxy Z series.

New Galaxy Z Series Phones

The phone lineup includes the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8. The Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra open sideways to provide larger screens, while the Z Flip8 opens vertically for a larger portrait display. Key features for this year are thinner designs, brighter screens, and increased durability.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9

Samsung’s wearables include the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, both offering enhanced battery life and advanced health monitoring capabilities. The company claims these watches herald a new era of health insights, easily accessible simply by wearing them. The improvements include features for monitoring hydration and offering guidance for pro athletes.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Details

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 stands out for its 35% better battery performance than the previous model. It is marketed as the brightest smartwatch available, with a larger display and a 12% thinner case. Additional health insights include functions like hydration monitoring for pro trail runners, and real-time feedback for divers.

Galaxy Watch9 Features

For those less focused on athletics, the Galaxy Watch9 provides a robust alternative. This device simplifies health management through tools like the Heart Health Score, which considers variables such as BMI, vascular load, and sleep patterns to offer heart health improvement tips. A fitness index is also available, measuring body composition and cardio levels.

Samsung Eyewear

Samsung has also collaborated with eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to create stylish smart glasses. These intelligent eyewear pieces introduce AI-driven assistance tailored to daily life. Though not tested at the showcase, they are anticipated to be among the most appealing smart glasses aesthetically.

Release Dates

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8 will be available for pre-order in select markets from July 22, 2026, with an expected release in early August 2026. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 will be available for pre-order from the same date, with general availability starting August 7, 2026.
