Anthony S. Fauci, who was instrumental in the United States’ response to the coronavirus pandemic, is scheduled to testify once more in front of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky). Paul has consistently accused Fauci of being involved in the origin of the coronavirus. These claims, however, have been denied by Fauci and other scientific authorities.
The former National Institutes of Health (NIH) scientist is expected to address these allegations during the upcoming testimony. Fauci has consistently maintained that he had no part in the virus’s creation, emphasizing the scientific consensus regarding the pandemic’s origins.
