Vicious Vicki Aims for ACW Women’s Championship

Vicious Vicki is once again aiming to make waves in Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) as she crosses the Jersey state line. Her goal this Saturday is to get back into the ACW Women’s Championship picture. She is set to compete in a battle royal with nine other women, vying to be the No. 1 contender for the title held by Steph De Lander. At a previous event, Reckoning, Vicki had managed to pin De Lander in a tag team match. However, the upcoming event at Indypendence Day in Poughkeepsie, New York, brings higher stakes.

In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Vicki expressed her determination to not be underestimated any longer. “I’ve been a part of ACW since its inception. I see myself as the ‘Queen of ACW,’ yet I have been overlooked. There are 10 other women who shouldn’t be in that ring with me. I am going to prove why I should be the ACW women’s champion,” she declared. Vicki aims to seize her opportunity on Saturday and reinforce her presence in ACW.

Vicki, who hails from New Jersey, has always been passionate about wrestling. She developed her love for the sport by watching WWE greats like Lita and The Hardy Boyz during the Attitude Era. This ignited her dream of becoming a pro wrestler. “From a young age, I was captivated by these larger-than-life characters,” she shared. “Lita was my idol. Growing up, I was an athlete, and wrestling was all I thought about. In 2018, I finally pursued this dream. I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t try.”

For Vicki, wrestling was a combination of performance and athleticism that drew her in. “It was the perfect mix of acting, athleticism, and style,” she noted. “As I grew older, I merged my interests in sports and theater, realizing wrestling embodied everything I loved. Beyond that, wrestling fans connect deeply with the stories and characters. Seeing someone like Lita doing amazing things made me believe I could achieve it too.”

Fans attending ACW’s Indypendence Day can expect a unique experience. “ACW is one of the hottest promotions right now. Held in a historic venue, it features top talent. Vik Dalishus and Hale Collins’s work is remarkable. It’s a thriving, family-friendly environment that delights both casual fans and smart marks.
