Security footage from Pet Supplies Plus on Baltimore Avenue showed a man wearing a light-colored T-shirt and black beanie entering the store. Moments later, he exited with Magnolia, a black-and-white tuxedo kitten. Witnesses reported he immediately headed to the PNC Bank in the shopping center.

Stephanie Stullich from Beltsville Community Cats received a call from the pet store about Magnolia’s disappearance. She noticed police cars responding to the nearby bank.
