Emmy Awards Nominations Highlight HBO Series Prominence

The upcoming Emmy Awards are set to highlight HBO’s dominance, with “The Pitt” leading in nominations. Many actors from this drama series, portraying doctors, have secured nominations.

In second place for nominations is “Hacks,” another HBO series. The nominations were announced Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Hosting the ceremony on September 14 will be Mariska Hargitay, star of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” as confirmed by NBC on Tuesday.
