President Trump continues to attempt to use the federal government to investigate and change the election system for his advantage. The assignment of 260 FBI analysts to a ‘priority’ investigation in Fulton County came shortly after the Supreme Court’s decision allowing states to count mail ballots arriving after Election Day, contradicting Mr. Trump’s plans. Additionally, a federal judge has blocked his attempt to require citizenship proof for voter registration.

The Justice Department is involved in criminal investigations concerning the 2020 election in Georgia. In January, the FBI conducted a raid at an election warehouse in Fulton County, where they seized over 600 boxes of election materials, including 2020 ballots. This raid was based on unfounded allegations about ballot discrepancies.

The revival of debunked claims by Kurt Olsen, part of the Trump administration, is noteworthy. Furthermore, federal agents have investigated a voter registration group in Ohio.
