President Donald Trump has revealed the lineup of performers for a rally in Washington D.C. The event marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. Trump shared the news on Truth Social, highlighting the artists scheduled to participate.
Trump announced that singer Lee Greenwood will introduce him with his famous song ‘GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.’ Among the performers is Christopher Macchio, known for singing ‘Nessun Dorma,’ ‘Hallelujah,’ ‘Ave Maria,’ ‘God Bless America,’ and more.
The event will also include performances by the U.S. Army Band, the U.S. Marine Band, and the Joint Armed Forces Chorus. Trump confirmed his attendance, noting, “PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMP!”
This announcement follows some performers withdrawing from the Freedom 250 celebration events. Trump suggested substituting “highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists'” with a speech by himself, claiming to be “the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World” and comparing his appeal to Elvis in his prime.
The story is developing with more updates expected soon.
