Albino Buffalo in Bangladesh Resembles Donald Trump, Draws Crowds

3 weeks ago 0

An albino buffalo in Bangladesh is attracting significant attention due to its striking resemblance to former President Donald Trump. This unique animal, with its light-colored hair reminiscent of Trump’s hairstyle, has become a viral sensation.

The buffalo, currently housed at Bangladesh’s national zoo, earned the nickname “Donald Trump” after a local farmer noticed the similarity. A video of the animal quickly gained popularity on social media, leading to increased public interest. Originally meant for slaughter during the Muslim festival Eid al-Adha, the buffalo was spared after government officials intervened, relocating it to the zoo in Dhaka.

Visitors to the zoo have flocked to see the buffalo, sparking debate over its controversial nickname. Some, such as Mohammed Nasim, a student from Dhaka, observed parallels between the buffalo’s features and Trump’s distinctive appearance: “There is a resemblance to Donald Trump in its eyes, hairstyle, and skin color,” he noted. Nasim added that the buffalo now experiences a level of attention akin to Trump’s own public presence.

The exhibit initially identified the buffalo as “Donald Trump,” but the sign has since been removed. The decision to associate the buffalo with the former president has not been universally welcomed. Mohammad Joynal Adedin, a local resident, criticized the naming as inappropriate: “Giving a farm animal the name of one of the world’s most influential leaders was certainly the wrong thing to do,” he expressed. Nonetheless, Adedin acknowledged his curiosity and visited the zoo to see the animal.

While the zoo’s curator was dismissed, no official reason for the termination was provided. The buffalo remains a focal point of interest, with visitors often capturing photos and videos of the unusual creature.
