2025 Emmy Awards Highlights

Mariska Hargitay, well-known for her role in Law & Order: SVU, hosted the Emmy Awards on Monday night. The event was broadcast on NBC and Peacock, beginning at 8 p.m. PT and 5 p.m. ET. This year’s ceremony celebrated shows that aired between June 2025 and May 2026.

In the drama category, the previous winner for best drama, The Pitt, faced formidable competition from titles like Pluribus, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and The Diplomat.

For comedy, Apple TV’s newcomers Widow’s Bay and Margo’s Got Money Troubles contended with returning series nominees. Notably, Hacks was nominated for its fifth and final season, while The Bear was recognized for its fourth season.

Musical artist Noah Kahan performed the song “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during the In Memoriam segment.
