Former President Donald Trump has announced his endorsement of Clay Fuller, the District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, for the U.S. House seat representing Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. This seat was previously held by former GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who recently stepped down following a public disagreement with Trump, despite previous support for him.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed, “It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Clay Fuller, to represent the wonderful people of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.” He praised Fuller’s experience as both a District Attorney and an Air National Guard Officer, highlighting his commitment to national defense and veteran support.

Trump believes Fuller will promote economic growth, reduce taxes and regulations, prioritize American manufacturing, enhance energy independence, secure national borders, and defend the Second Amendment. Fuller is described by Trump as having strong support from influential MAGA advocates in Georgia and several Republicans in Congress.

As District Attorney and Air National Guard Officer, Clay Fuller exemplifies the wisdom and courage necessary to defend our country,” Trump noted in his message.

Fuller responded to Trump’s endorsement with gratitude, emphasizing his commitment to the values and priorities expressed by Trump. He stated, “THANK YOU, Mr. President. This is the honor of a lifetime. I will not let you or Georgia’s 14th District down. Our work to put America first is just getting started!”

The special election to fill the now-vacant congressional seat is scheduled for March 10, as announced by Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger. Should no candidate receive a majority of the votes, a run-off election is set for April 7.
