Brittany Mahomes has made a name for herself with her spirited support of the Kansas City Chiefs, led by her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Her recent online posts have often ruffled feathers, but she remains unwavering in her support.
During a recent game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Brittany Mahomes shared her reaction on social media. She posted photos of her game-day outfit with a caption referencing Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak’s confidence. Kubiak had asserted during halftime that the Raiders would emerge victorious after leading 13-10.
The Raiders had the Chiefs on their heels with a halftime lead. However, the Chiefs’ comeback after halftime showcased their resilience.
Patrick Mahomes orchestrated a remarkable comeback for the Chiefs. In the fourth quarter, he led three successful touchdown drives, outscoring the Raiders 20-14 in that period. Tyquan Thornton’s impressive 55-yard catch set up Kenneth Walker’s touchdown, proving pivotal.
In a dramatic turn, the Raiders fumbled during the kickoff, allowing Walker to add another touchdown to the scoreboard. The Raiders managed to close the gap with a Kirk Cousins-to-Brock Bowers 20-yard touchdown pass. Yet, an interception from Cousins in their final possession sealed their fate.
The game concluded with a Kansas City victory, advancing their record to 4-0, while Las Vegas saw their season record dip to 3-1.
After the game, Patrick Mahomes shared his perspective on the victory. “You have to stay with it,” he said. He acknowledged the skill of the Raiders’ team and defense, emphasizing the importance of trusting in the process for success.
