Simon Le Bon Enjoys Sardinia Vacation with Wife Yasmin

Simon Le Bon, a member of the famed band Duran Duran, was recently seen soaking up the sun during a vacation in Europe with his wife, Yasmin Le Bon. The couple was photographed enjoying a beach day in Sardinia.

Simon, aged 67, sported red swim shorts complemented by a white V-neck T-shirt, which he occasionally draped around his neck. Yasmin, 61, showcased her style in a classic black string bikini. Together, they strolled along the scenic coastline and enjoyed a dip in the ocean, often accompanied by friends.

In other snapshots, they were seen aboard a boat; Yasmin sunbathed with a friend while Simon took the helm, steering the vessel before both dived into the sea for a swim.

Simon and Yasmin’s connection dates back to 1984. Simon became enamored with Yasmin after spotting her on a magazine cover photographed by Mike Owen, and sought her contact information. Their relationship led to a first public appearance together at the premiere of “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.” Initially friends, their relationship evolved into romance in 1985 in Paris. The couple got engaged that year and married in December.

On their enduring marriage, Simon once expressed to the Daily Mirror, “For ten minutes in the morning, I admired her sleeping peacefully. It tells you a lot about my life. I’m fortunate to have chosen someone so wonderful—she’s fun, intelligent, and we laugh all the time.” This desire for lifelong companionship continues to motivate Simon’s commitment.

Duran Duran rose to fame with Simon as the lead vocalist, alongside Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, and Andy Taylor. Formed in 1978, the band achieved global recognition with their 1982 album “Rio” containing hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Save a Prayer.” Their notable achievements include two Grammy Awards, two BRITs, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, the group persists in creating music, releasing “Free To Love,” featuring Nile Rodgers, in April 2026.

Reflecting on their musical journey, Simon shared with Stereogum that the band’s enduring motivation comes from a shared thrill in creating music. “We carry on because we enjoy the music we make together,” he remarked in November 2021.
