House Speaker Endorses Congressman Amid Controversy

The House Ethics Committee initiated an investigation earlier this month to look into claims that Representative Max Miller allegedly subjected his ex-wife and daughter to physical abuse. The representative, however, denies all accusations.

On Monday, House Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana publicly declared his support for Representative Miller. He referred to Miller as a “great member of Congress” and endorsed his campaign for a third term. This endorsement comes in spite of the domestic violence allegations against Miller from his former spouse.
